This is the easiest holiday party food I’m making this year. There is very literally no baking or cooking involved. These tarts are as simple as: open; build; serve!
Pleast note: do not make these ahead of time. The pastry cups will wilt.
This recipe makes 12 mini tarts.
Cherry Almond Mini Tarts
- 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
- 1 Package Frozen Filo Dough Pastry Cups
- Slivered Almonds
- Whipped Cream
- Mix almonds into cherry pie filling, and spoon into pastry cups.
- Top with whipped cream and more almonds.
- Serve immediately on a festive tray.
